Volunteer Alliance was developed by a group of
services whose purpose is to increase client access
to volunteer support, and in doing so contribute to
maintaining and enhancing the security, independence,
emotional, social and intellectual well being of frail,
aged people and people with a disability in the community.

Volunteer Alliance aims to recuit an effective number of volunteers to support the activities and programmes
of the alliance of Ashburton Support Services, Alamein Community Committee Inc., Elsie Salter House and the
Marwal Centre, and through doing so enables the
maintainance and extension of the services' programmes.

The Volunteer Alliance employs a full-time Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, support and generally assist the vital role of volunteers across the four organisations.
