What we do

Elsie Salter House is a dementia specific day care centre.
Programs run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each
week. Daily living skills, fun and positive encouragement
are provided in a secure, accepting and uplifting
environment for individuals with dementia. Support is
also provided for carers.

Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 3 pm, we offer a
recreational program that includes activities such as
discussions, singing, woodwork, cooking and any other
activities of interest to our clients.

Thursday is an outing day. We travel around Melbourne’s surrounding areas to enjoy sight seeing, a picnic lunch and a walk.
